Seagarden Group

Seagarden Group is a privately owned Norwegian holding company with headquarters on the southwest coast of Norway. The company specializes in the production of marine food and health ingredients from non-primary products from processing of fish and shellfish.

The group’s operations are divided into 3 business areas.

The group has three production sites along the Norwegian coast, Karmsund fishing harbor at Avaldsnes in Rogaland, Senjahopen and Tromsø.

Seagarden AS

Seagarden AS has an ideal location for marine-based production, with regards to shipping to the international market and for receiving fresh and frozen raw materials. In the immediate vicinity, there is access to a deep-water port for the transport of containers in and out of the facility. In addition, there is good access along the road and Haugesund Airport Karmøy is 5 km from the factory with connections both domestically and internationally.

The facility at Avaldsnes is approved according to the FSSC 22000 standard and several of the products are Chain of Custody approved by the Marine Stewardship Council for sustainable fishing. Seagarden products are raw material and ingredient in food and health applications.
